We are pleased to introduce Professor Shafiq ur Rehman as the new member of IICM2013 scientific committee

   Prof. Rehman has obtained his PhD degree in 1997, from Coventry University, UK, in the field of Plant (Seed & Pollen)Physiology adding later expertise in the field of molecular biology.  Prof. Rehman had opportunity to work for over 15 years in world’s some of the best universities/labs as a professor, visiting scientist/post-doc/lecturer in Pakistan, UK, South Africa and South Korea with the administrative responsibilities as well teaching, supervision, research,training (technical/non-technical staff) and establishment of new research facilities. Working in 3 continents with diverse background in teaching and research has equipped me with up to date knowledge and research skills

   Not only working for more than a decade in 3 continents with diverse background in teaching and research has equipped me with up to date knowledge and research skills but also has provided an opportunity to excel his leadership qualities. Additionally, Prof. Rehman managerial skills got more polished and tuned to home ground by working in KUST, Pakistan. Prof. Rehman has been chairing various statutory bodies/committees for last four years in KUST. The years of work in overseas and Pakistan, an excellent blend of various cultures and systems had equipped him with unique leadership qualities
