We are pleased to introduce Dr. Marzena Swigon as the new member of IICM2013 scientific committee.

   Dr. Marzena Swigon is an associate professor in the Department of Archive, Library and Information Science, Institute of History and International Relations at University of Warmia and Mazury inOlsztyn, Poland. She holds a doctorate from the University of Wrocław (Poland),where her Habilitation process is under way.

   Dr. Swigon`s publications have appeared in such journals as Library & Information Science Research, Journal of Information Science, Aslib Proceedings, Library Management. She has presented her works at some international conferences, e.g. European Conference on Intellectual Capital, Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Libraries.

   Since 2011, Dr. Swigon is a member of the conference committee (Academic Conferences Limited) for International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning (ICICKM) and European Conference on Intellectual Capital.

   Dr. Swigon is a founder member and local coordinator of the Polish subchapter of International Society for Knowledge Organisation (ISKO) in Olsztyn. 

   Dr. Swigon`s research interests include knowledge and information management, knowledge and information sharing, information barriers and limits. Dr. Swigon is a grant holder of National Science Centre in Poland and German Academic Service Exchange DAAD.

We are fortunate to have been able to have someone with such experience and expertise.
