We are pleased to introduce Professor Eka Gegeshidzei as the new member of IICM2013 scientific committee.

   Prof. Gegeshidzei is a Full Professor in the School of Business, Economics and Management at The University of Georgia. Prof. Gegeshidzei has specialized in various aspects of the economic and Education reforms of countries in transition,including Economics Development, youth education and participation, Education reform, Joint ventures, financial services, budgetary Methods, taxation, Accounting business restructuring and development of small and medium-sized businesses. Her recent experience includes the following activities: Economic Development, Macroeconomic Policy, Public Economics,Economic growth and Globalization, Curricula developments, Economic growth and GDP per Economic Entity in Georgia; GDP and Economic growth, relation of investment projects and Business Cycle; Project implementation; Business valuation and Planning, programme planning; project management and project evaluation; economic and financial analysis (feasibility studies, business plans); taxation, research of problems of regional development and creation of appropriate programs. Since 1999 she was actively and permanently involved in Accounting, Economics and Education policy and program making process in Georgia. She has extensive experience working with international donor organizations. Prof. Gegeshidzei is a Scientific Editor and author of Economic Teaching Programs, Books and Teaching methodology manuals.

   Prof. Gegeshidzei has been working as an executive director for Junior Achievement Georgia, It is one of 121 Member Nation affiliates’ of Junior Achievement Worldwide, the world’s oldest and largest non-profit organization devoted to promoting an understanding of the principles and values of entrepreneurship and the free market system by sponsoring programs of economic education that involves the participation of both, educators and business people.
