We are pleased to introduce Professor. Asaf Varol as the new member of IICM2013 scientific committee

   Prof. Varol has been a Professor at College of Technology of Firat University since 2011. He worked as a Coordinator of Eastern Anatolian Project (EAP) which has been one of the biggest regional development projects that covered 16 cities in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. This project was fully supported by the Ministry of Development of Turkey. EAP was prepared by a consortium established by the Universities of Ataturk, Firat, Inonu, Kafkas and Yuzuncu Yıl between 1998 and 2000

   Eastern Anatolia Project (EAP) has been used by the Government for developing issues of the region. More than 20 different sectors have been investigated deeply such as environment, disaster risk management, education, health, energy, industry, protecting women and children,handicrafts, settlements, agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, mining,transportation and communication, finance, tourism, etc. In addition, Dr. Varoland his research team proposed some cities development projects in the East and South East Anatolia

    Prof. Varol`s research interests are regional development management, engineering management, knowledge management,intellectual capital and software engineering

   Now,  Prof. Varol is a Visiting Professor at Sam HoustonS tate University in the US, and he is teaching Digital Forensics and Information Assurance courses
