We are pleased to introduce Dr. Kavoos Mohannak as the new member of IICM2013 scientific committee

   Dr. Mohannak is a Senior Lecturer at the QUT Business School, Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Previously, Dr. Mohannak worked as a research fellow at the Centre for Asia Pacific Social Transformation Studies at the University of Wollongong. He studied and worked at the International University of Japan(IUJ) for several years and has worked as a consultant in a number of international projects relating to innovation in various industries.

   In recent years Dr. Mohannak has completed major research projects on R&D and innovation in biotechnology industry and has studied Australian ICT and manufacturing clusters in various regions of Australia. Currently Dr. Mohannak teaches courses on entrepreneurship and technology/innovation management. His research focuses on management of technology and knowledge from the perspective of government policy, innovation and knowledge management in SMEs, R&D networks and regional clusters. Dr. Mohannak`s research interests are:

• Organisational linkages; technology transferand commercialisation

• Innovation policies, systems & industrycluster analysis

• Regional innovation and knowledge managementin SMEs
