We are pleased to introduce Prof. Alex da Silva Alves as the new member of IICM2013 scientific committee 

   Prof. da Silva Alves. Degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Master’s in Production Engineering from Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), and Ph.D. from Universita di Milano-Bicocca (Italy). He is currently Professor of Finance at the University of Sao Paulo, where he teaches finance and project economics in the Department of Economics, Business Administration and Sociology at the Piracicaba campus. Professor Alves has over 10 years of academic and consulting experience in new technology valuation, and science, technology and innovation policies. He has co-authored two books, and published articles in congresses in the areas of innovation and university-industry cooperation and innovation financing.  

We are fortunate to have been able to have someone with such experience and expertise
